My name is Thea and I am a Melbourne-based Clinical Psychologist.
I am a warm and compassionate psychologist who works collaboratively with adults to better understand what is getting in the way of living the life they want. Together, we can explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected from what matters to you, and find ways forward that feel realistic and sustainable.
I have a particular interest in supporting people who struggle with procrastination, avoidance, low motivation or difficulty getting started. Sometimes, knowing what we want to do isn’t enough to help us do it. I enjoy helping people understand the reasons behind these patterns and develop gentler, more effective ways of approaching tasks, motivation and productivity — without relying on pressure, perfectionism or self-criticism.
I also support adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, difficulty coping with change or stress, grief and loss, or low self-esteem. This might include feeling caught in worry or self-doubt, feeling overwhelmed, losing confidence, or finding that anxiety is getting in the way of everyday life and the things that matter to you.
I draw upon evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy, while also incorporating Mindfulness and Self-Compassion approaches. I aim to create a space that feels warm, collaborative and non-judgemental, where we can work together at a pace that feels manageable for you.

Are you feeling stuck?
Does getting started feel harder than it should?
Do you want to move forward without pressure or self-criticism?
If so, I’m glad you’re here
